First things first, characters should be registered in all caps ex. JANE DOE. Before registering, we ask that you please take a look at our member list to ensure that you aren’t duplicating any first and/or last names. Different spellings of first names are allowed and in case of familial relationships or marriage, duplicate last names are allowed. If you happen to make a mistake, don’t fret, all you need to do is fix it in your control panel, admin approval is not required.
Face claims are the heart of your characters but as a courtesy, we ask that you do not use instagram models, porn stars, and those deceased. Every other face is available including actors, signed models, musicians, athletes, and youtubers. Character age should not extend 5+/- years of your chosen face claim - we want to make sure that your character looks the part. There is no limit on how many characters you can create here on Last Echo, so go crazy and make as many as you want whenever you want, but make sure that you know what you’re capable of in terms of activity.
Activity is pretty simple. If there has been no word from you for at least a month, we’ll place said character in our Inactive category. All of the work that you create with your character will continue to be on the site and if you ever come back to reactivate your character(s), all you need to do is shoot an admin a message and we’ll take care of it. We know that real life gets in the way sometimes, so don’t hesitate to put up an absence whenever you need to in order to alert the others that you’ll be away.
While there is no set rating on Last Echo, we know that our members will surely want threads that go over touchy subjects. When having a thread that contains as such please put a warning in the title, [tw] for trigger warning and [m] for mature content. If you are unsure whether or not to use a warning, simply put it anyway just to be sure, you never know what may trigger someone and we want to make sure to protect our members.
Common knowledge: no god-modding. Don’t try to control someone else’s characters unless you have spoken with the other roleplayer and have been given permission to do so in certain situations ex. if your characters get in a fight. Respect is the the most important rule on this site, as we want all members to think of this as a safe place, a place where they can be themselves and don’t have to alter to the terms of society. So basically, don’t be a dick. If there are any issues with other members, please contact a person of staff and we’ll take care of it.
